About

Dr. Debra Karling joined CNUCOM after serving 21 years in clinical practice at the Department of Veterans Affairs at McClellan in outpatient primary care. Prior to her impressive tenure at the VA, she worked as an Internist and Rheumatologist for the UC Davis Medical Group in Roseville.

Her academic foundation was built at the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. degree in Microbiology, and then she earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Dr. Karling's passion for medicine continued through her training, including an Internal Medicine internship and residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, and Lenox Hill Hospital in the heart of New York City.
